Information stored in the app
Nudge stores your tasks, notes, scheduled dates, completion history, and app preferences locally on your device. The app does not send this information to a developer-operated server. Nudge does not require an account or implement its own cloud synchronization service.
No advertising or tracking
Nudge does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not collect task data for advertising or sell your task data.
Local reminders
If you save a reminder, Nudge asks for notification permission and schedules a local notification using Apple’s notification service. You can change this permission in iPhone Settings. Task titles may appear in notification previews according to your device settings.
Preferences
Your theme selection and the date of the last daily carryover message are saved on your device so Nudge can remember your choices and avoid repeating a message.
Backups and diagnostics
Your device’s backup and diagnostic features are controlled by Apple and your device settings. Device backups may contain local app data. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by its own policies and your settings.
Deleting your information
You can delete individual tasks in Nudge. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Copies retained in device backups are governed by your backup settings; deleting the app does not necessarily delete those backups.
Contacting support
If you email support, the information you choose to send, including your email address and message, is used to respond to your request. Email is handled by the email services involved in sending and receiving your message. Please do not include sensitive task content.
This website
These support pages do not include advertising, analytics scripts, or contact forms. The website hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the pages. This is separate from the task data stored in the Nudge app.

Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated effective date.
